Yes. The Mi Box S and the newer Xiaomi TV Box S all run Android TV or Google TV, so IPTV player apps install on them the same way they do on any other Android box. Below is the full setup with EyePTV: install Downloader, add IBO Player Pro, then load your playlist. Nine steps, about ten minutes.
Why not just use the Play Store? The exact IBO Player Pro build this guide uses often doesn't appear in Google Play on Android TV boxes, or shows as unavailable for the device. That is why we install it through Downloader instead of searching the store.
There is an easier route if you want it. Your Xiaomi TV Box S runs Google TV, so TiviMate installs straight from the Play Store with no sideloading and no permission changes at all. If you would rather do that, follow our Google TV guide instead. Both work with EyePTV — TiviMate is simpler to set up, IBO Player Pro is the one to use if you already have an IBO licence.

IBO Player Pro is the player; EyePTV is the service that supplies your channels. The app has none of its own. It usually starts with a trial and may ask for its own licence afterwards — that licence is not part of your EyePTV subscription.
From the Xiaomi TV Box S home screen open Apps or the Google Play Store. Search for Downloader and choose Downloader by AFTVnews, then select Install.
Go to Settings → Apps and look for Security & Restrictions, or Special app access → Install unknown apps.
Find Downloader in the list and switch it to Allowed.
If Install unknown apps isn't there or is greyed out, go to Settings → System → About, highlight Android TV OS build and press OK about seven times until it says you are now a developer.
Go back to the Apps settings and the permission will be available.
Open Downloader by AFTVnews. In the field marked Enter a URL, Search Term, or Short Code, type 481220 and select Go.

Downloader fetches the file. When Android's installer screen appears select Install, then Open when it finishes.
If you select Done instead, you'll find the player later in Your apps.
When IBO Player Pro opens it shows a MAC Address / Device ID and a Device Key. Photograph the screen or copy both down exactly.
On a phone or computer, open the Manage Playlists page shown on the TV screen and sign in with those two values.
Create a playlist named EyePTV, then fill in whichever details we sent you:
M3U / M3U8 — paste the complete playlist URL. Xtream Codes — enter the server host, username and password. Then select Save.
Back on the Xiaomi box, close IBO Player Pro and open it again. If the app offers Reload, Refresh or Change Playlist, use it.
Your Live TV, Movies, Series and TV guide sections load. Done — and don't forget to switch Install unknown apps back off.

Search the full name Downloader by AFTVnews. Check the box is signed in to a Google account and online. The publisher should read AFTVnews.com — don't install a lookalike.
Start the install from Downloader first — Google TV often opens the permission screen by itself at that point. If not, turn on Developer Mode as described in step 3, then look again under Apps and Security.
Type the full address instead: https://iboproapp.com/ibopro.apk. If that also fails, stop — don't try random codes or APK mirrors. Message us and we'll confirm the current one.
Expected until you add a playlist. IBO Player Pro is only a player. Go back through steps 6 to 9 and check the MAC and Device Key were entered on the right device in Manage Playlists.
Close the app fully and reopen it, then use Reload or Refresh. If it's still empty, the link was probably cut short when it was pasted. Send us a screenshot and we'll check it.
Yes. Once the player is installed, go back to Settings → Apps → Install unknown apps and switch Downloader off. Everything keeps working, and nothing else can quietly install software on the box.
