Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

The short version

  • We collect very little. Your contact details, your order, and the device identifiers we need to activate your subscription.
  • We log connections. IP address and how many streams are open, because that is the only way to enforce a per-connection subscription. Explained in section 4.
  • We never see your card number. Payments go through providers who handle that themselves.
  • We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or build a profile from what you watch.
  • Ask and we act. Want to see it, correct it or have it deleted? One message and we handle it.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information EyePTV collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It applies to the website at eyeptv.us and to the EyePTV service itself.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “EyePTV” mean the operator of the EyePTV service, contactable at contact@eyeptv.us.

It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

2. What we collect

What you give us. Your WhatsApp number or email address, whatever you write in your messages, and anything you attach — including screenshots of your TV screen when you ask for help. Also the device or devices you tell us you are setting up.

What we need to run the service. The login credentials we issue you, and where your device requires it, a MAC address or device key — MAG boxes, IBO players and similar bind a subscription to a specific device, so we cannot activate those without it.

What is recorded automatically when you watch. Your IP address, connection times, and the number of streams open on your account. We explain why in section 4.

Payment details. The order itself — plan, amount, date — plus whatever the payment provider passes back to us. We never see or store your full card number.

Website data. Standard server and analytics data such as pages viewed, approximate location from your IP, browser and device type.

3. Why we use it

To provide the service you paid for — issuing credentials, activating your device, keeping your subscription running, and renewing it when you ask.

To support you — answering your messages, diagnosing setup problems, and checking your account when something is not working.

To take payment and handle refunds, including under our refund policy.

To protect the service — enforcing connection limits, detecting shared or resold credentials, and preventing fraud and abuse.

To meet our legal obligations, including keeping records of transactions.

4. Connection logs and device identifiers

We want to be straightforward about this one because it is the part most services leave vague.

Each subscription includes a limited number of simultaneous connections. To enforce that, our servers record when your account connects, from which IP address, and how many streams are open. There is no way to offer a per-connection subscription without doing so.

Where your device is bound by MAC address or device key — MAG boxes, IBO players, HotPlayer and similar — we hold that identifier for as long as your subscription is active, because it is what tells our system which device is yours.

We use this information to run and protect the service. We do not use it to build a profile of your viewing habits for advertising, and we do not sell it. See section 8.

5. WhatsApp and messaging

Most of our contact with you happens on WhatsApp. Those messages are carried by WhatsApp under Meta's own privacy terms, not ours — we are simply the other person in the chat.

We keep the conversation history so we can pick up where we left off, check what was sent to you, and resolve billing or refund questions later.

If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email us at contact@eyeptv.us instead. Please do not send us anything you would not want stored in a message thread — we never need your card number, your bank details or your passwords for anything.

6. Payments and crypto

Card and PayPal payments are processed by third-party payment providers. They collect your payment details directly under their own privacy policies. We receive confirmation of the payment and enough order information to identify it — never your full card number.

For crypto payments, the transaction is recorded on a public blockchain by design. That record is permanent, publicly visible, and outside our control or anyone else's. If you ask for a crypto refund we will hold the wallet address you give us for that purpose.

7. Who we share information with

Payment providers, to take payment and issue refunds.

Infrastructure and upstream providers, to the extent needed to deliver the stream to your connection.

Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, where genuinely necessary.

Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

That is the full list. We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers or marketing companies.

8. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the past twelve months.

We do not build advertising profiles from what you watch.

We do not send you marketing messages you did not ask for. If we ever start, it will be opt-in and you will be able to stop it in one message.

9. How long we keep it

Account and credential data — for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back or a billing question arises.

Transaction records — for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Connection logs — for a short operational period, long enough to enforce connection limits and investigate abuse, then deleted.

Message history — while it is useful for supporting you, then deleted on request.

10. Cookies and the website

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and may use analytics cookies to understand which pages people find useful.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.

The setup guides on this site link out to third-party websites and app stores. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

11. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to: tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete your information, or send you a copy of it. Message or email us and we will deal with it.

If you are in the United States, state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act give residents of several states specific rights — to know what is collected, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the other rights apply and we will honour them.

If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your national data protection authority.

We do not charge for handling a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one. We may need to confirm your identity first — usually by replying from the number or email address the account was set up with.

Bear in mind that deleting your data ends your ability to use the service, since the credentials and device identifiers are what the service runs on.

12. Children

EyePTV is not intended for children. You must be 18 or over to subscribe, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

If children use a device in your household, most players include a PIN or parental control option — we recommend setting it.

13. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can help: keep your credentials to yourself, do not post your MAC address or device key in public comments or screenshots, and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.

14. Where your information is handled

We and the providers we use may process information in countries other than the one you live in. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard comparable to that of your home country.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the one in force and the date it was last updated is shown at the top. Where a change materially affects you, we will make reasonable efforts to let subscribers know.

16. How to contact us about your data

WhatsApp +44 7403 674324 or email contact@eyeptv.us with Privacy request in the subject line. Full details are on our contact page.

We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 days.
